Recording and monitoring mammals in Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull

2021 Year of the Mole

Moles are seriously under-recorded, mostly because they live underground and we rarely see them. But they leave great field signs... molehills! We want to find out more about the distribution of moles in Warwickshire, so tell us if you have seen one, or a molehill, and if so where.

Warwickshire Mammal Group is a voluntary organisation concerned with surveying, raising awareness and the conservation of wild mammals in Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull.

Throughout the year we will be holding walks, talks and surveys on a range of mammal topics.

Check out our surveys & events page for more information of upcoming events and see our news page for details on what we've been up to so far.

Have you spotted any mammals near you? Moles in your garden? Rabbits on your allotments? Has your cat been bringing in mice?

We want to know! Please send us your sightings - look at our Records page for more info on how to get involved in recording.
