Recording Mammals

All mammal records are gratefully received, from what you saw on your walks and journeys to sightings from survey work to the moles in your garden and what your cat brought in!

Making and keeping records is an invaluable resource for nature conservation. It enables us to find key areas for particular species and target effective conservation work.

What makes a good record?

What? species name

Where? location with a grid reference or postcode

When? date as dd/mm/yy

Who saw it? your full name

Extra notes? anything else you want to mention e.g. number seen

Please send the details of your sightings to warksmammalgroup@gmail.com, or alternatively you can use our online recording form

***Notice to commercial organisations and consultants***
